Heart 2 Heart Challenges Blog : April Showers / Spring Blossoms

This weeks at Heart 2 Heart Challenges Blog our challenge is to create something with the theme of Spring Flowers / April Showers.  I was thinking that you have seen a lot of flowers from me and not enough rain.  I have to tell you that I LOVE rainy days!!!  I thinks it's because I live in San Diego, California and the fact that we don't get many rainy days in the year, that makes me enjoy them even more.  Rainy days make me think of cozy days, staying in with my kids and husband, fireplace going and comfort food.

The top picture was taken to with a dark background and I used a flash so the liquid glass can be more visible.  The bottom picture was taken with a light background with NO flash, so the liquid glass with prisma glitter could be more visible for you.

If it seems that I have been using a lot of clear cards for my projects lately... well you are correct. I've been trying to get out of making conventional/traditional cards, but keeping in line with CTMH products only.  So... for now I will use up all my clear cards by altering them a little at a time.

As you can see that I did use a positive sentiment for rain on the card and when you open the card, there is a little cute surprise.   I also like leaving room for a personal message which makes this card more personal.
Need some more inspiration to create your own card for this weeks challenge?...Then take a peek at what the rest of the DT created:

Magnifique Layouts

Hi Everyone!
Well January's workshop has come and gone! Thanks to all the ladies that joined the workshops and I hope to see some pictures on those layouts soon!!!
(Remember to click on the image for a more
detailed look at my work)
I love it when other consultants or customers create their own things while using my creations as their inspiration.  The other day, I came across my Mistletoe layout on a CTMH consultants blog and I was super happy that she mentioned my name.  Woo-Hoo!!!  I welcome everyone who to use all of the artwork in this blog for their own creations, all I ask is to include my name & my blog link.  Can't wait to see more creations out there!

February's workshops have been scheduled and are posted on the right side bar, contact me directly if you would like to join in the fun.  Here are the pictures for Magnifique!!

These three sets of layouts were created using the "Magic" How To Book.
As stated on the CTMH website: "Bring magic to your scrapbook layouts using clever interactive techniques. You'll add hands-on excitement and dramatically increase your photo and journaling space using pop-ups, pull-outs, slides, cascades, and more! Magic™ also includes 35 gorgeous 12" x 12" layout patterns that can be used on their own or with the interactive techniques."(DVD included.)

Here is another calendar that I have pimped up for the event. This is my other favorite, because it makes the simple calendar look so elegant.
